Curl up at the end of a long day with our Bertie Sofa. Soft yet firm with a superloop sprung back and foam overlay, our Bertie sofa features a traditional button back with solid, detailed hardwood legs. With gentle curves and a serpentine sprung seat, this two-seater sofa is a homage to the vintage chesterfield sofa but with a modern twist. This contemporary sofa seat is made to order, so choose from a selection of 34 fabrics and a range of colours to suit your interior style. The Bertie button sofa is sister to our Bertie Armchair, style together for the complete look.

Your order will be made by a team of expert craftspeople in the North of England. As soon as your order is ready, we'll be in touch to let you know before passing your details on to our courier, they will then be in direct contact with you to book a mutually convenient date for delivery and you’ll receive a 4 hour time slot prior to the delivery.
Additional fees apply for delivery to the Highlands and certain postcodes in the West Cornwall area. Currently this item is not available for delivery outside Mainland UK, including the Islands.

Our Bertie sofa is handmade in the north of England by a team of artisan makers in a factory with over 50 years of heritage. The Bertie Sofa boasts a serpentine sprung seat with a super loop sprung back made from premium foam overlay for maximum comfort. Featuring hardwood rails crafted with engineered MDF sections glued and dowelled for a sofa built to last.

True to its name - this range of sofas are designed for snuggling up and cosying down! The button-down detailing, large rounded frames and deep seats are made for slouching, sprawling and generally sitting in comfort. With upholstery options of velvet, cotton, linen, wool boucle and cord fabrics in a variety of bright and neutral colours - cosiness is key.
VELVET
Our sumptuous 100% natural cotton velvet is the perfect partner for our Snuggle range. The texture of the fabric has been prioritised, ahead of using any stain guarding – but as long as spillages are dealt with quickly, your velvet sofa will stand the test of time. The thick pile is super soft and ages with charm and character much like a vintage leather sofa might. If stains do occur it can be professionally dry cleaned.
