  • Love your wrinkles ! Creases and wrinkles will naturally occur over time with leather. But don’t panic! This is a completely normal characteristic and gives your sofa a soft and inviting look.
  • Deal with stains quickly to minimise stain damage. Soak up the excess liquid immediately by gently dabbing with a white, dry, clean and highly absorbent cloth. Work inwards from the edges to avoid the stain spreading.
  • Consult a specialist leather upholstery cleaner for advice. Professional cleaning is always recommended.
  • Clean and condition the leather at least once a year to stop it getting too dry. Use a sperate cleaning and conditioning product from a reputable supplier.

Don't.

  • Avoid using a vacuum cleaner on leather, but if you do need to use one to get into tighter areas, make sure you use a soft brush attachment.
  • Do not rub or use abrasive cleaners, detergents or solvents as this will damage your furniture.
  • Do not place hot items such as hot drinks, hot water bottles or laptops on leather as they may result in dark marks.
